This *vaporizer* has a production style admittedly similar to his contemporaries. But there is a lot going on here, the loop on the main sample is jarringly looped creating a disjointed lounge groove. 2/3 of the way in, the sample is slowed to a point where it feels like the beginning of another song, but jumps directly into the main groove with slightly more instrumental color and sonic *pop*, and then after only 15-30 seconds, again, in a feeling more akin to a mixtape then a diagetic shift in a track, another lounge sample is faded up and blended in this strange, jarring but smooth way. Like the best vaporwave, it’s pleasant to listen to as a result of its source but jarringly edited enough to provoke thought.
